About Us

"Swabhiman Foundation is a registered trust established with an aim to work with the motto – “A Step towards Sustainability”. The organisation has been working on different social issues through its own programs and initiatives such as Health - Health Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Awareness and Facilitation of Health Care Cards along with Information dissemination about various Health Schemes; Education – Skill Development Programs such as Jal Jeevan Mission, Digital Literacy, Cutting and Tailoring, Hand Embroidery, Hand Bag making from Used Cloth and Research & Development Studies; Environment – Cleanliness and Plantation Drives; Empowerment through Gyan Kendra’s and Self Help Group based Income Generation Programs; Sustainability through Apna Network and Saksham; and various other programs like Grateful Giving, Legal Awareness, opportunity enhancement through Volunteers and Internships while actively observing few important days."

From The Founder's Desk

Through my years of experience, as an Educator, a Management professional and a Social Worker, I have always witnessed individuals at their worst, emotionally, economically and struggling to survive. Being financially sustained and stable is everyone’s dream; however, something was missing, the lack of knowledge and awareness, right direction and the strength to take a step towards it, despite of numerous opportunities and schemes being available. I have always seen people for whom they could become, opposed to who they currently are.

With these experiences, a need to provoke change was born in the form of ‘Swabhiman Foundation – a Step towards Sustainability’. Our objective is to empower individuals and develop leaders, while facilitate to meet their immediate needs and work towards a sustainable future. We partner with organizations, creating alliances that change the trajectories of our communities while equipping each individual to reach their full potential, striving for excellence.

Swabhiman Foundation, with its passionate team members, tirelessly working field teams and the support of our donors / funders, is committed to impacting lives through relief assistance, education, income generating programs, mentoring and advocacy.
